ALS Scandinavia offers the identification of asbestos in air, dust, and material samples. There are several types of fiber, and it is important to be able to separate "dangerous" fibers, like asbestos, from less dangerous ones, e.g., mineral wool. It is possible to identify organic fibers (e.g., cellulose and textile), synthetic inorganic fibers (e.g., mineral and glass wool), natural mineral fibers and asbestos.

ALS Scandinavia offers semi-quantitative analyses for asbestos, including type and concentration level of asbestos fibers.
